Zona F. Lindsey

November 17, 1963 – July 27, 2014

Zona Lindsay was a member of Abundant Harvest for more than 3 years.  During her time with our church family, she was very engaged in the activities of the ministry.  She suffered a lot of pain and was quite ill, but remained hopeful.  Zona wanted so much to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit that she asked two members of the church to meet her on a Saturday morning to seek the in-filling of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.  The Lord did not disappoint her.  That very day, Zona received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.  She was so grateful to the Lord for granting her request!

Due in part to her illness and location, Zona spent her last year or so unable to attend church.  Upon her demise, our Pastor was called to share the in the memorial of her life.  Zona passed away July 27, 2014 age 50. Survived by her father, Melvin Lindsey, 2 brothers, Dwayne and Marvin Lindsey. Per her wishes she was cremated and a memorial service was held at Greater Philadelphia COGIC, 265 E.
